Józsefvárosi Civil Pályázat (VIII. district’s local funding for NGO projects) is an annual call and in 2023 Lahmacun radio received support from the district (where the radio studio is located) for the 3rd time already. This way, the local government confirms how much value they see in the operation of a community radio based in their district. The support is very much needed and appreciated! The grant’s budget will be spent on rental costs of the radio’s studio and on various broadcast fees (copyrights etc.).
