Starting in June 2024, KultDesk’s Lahmacun radio launches a new project called Civil Waves supported by the U.S. Embassy in Hungary via the Free Media Call (Szabad Média Pályázat). The project includes a new morning show to present and involve local civil society organisations in various fields such as art, culture, social housing, minorities, and more. Beside the morning show series on air via both participating radios, the project also implements actions to empower civil organisations with know-how for podcast creation, and it will also organise live events for the popularisation of the importance and values of civil organisation activities.
